Our production is small-scale, and so our products will have limited availability. Please subscribe to our mailing lists as described below if you wish to receive notices about availability. We will also post photos and blogs from time to time.
Production of Utter wine from the Riverhouse vineyards will be limited. You can purchase directly through this website on the shop page. The restaurants where you may enjoy our wine, and the wine shops that will carry our wines are listed here.
We will not be operating a regular cellar door at this stage, but will participate in relevant state and national wine promotion events, such as Aussie Wine Month (each year in May), together with the boutique wine-making fraternity in our region: the Murrindindi Winemakers group. You will be cordially invited to attend and visit us on that occasion, if you join our email mailing list for Utter Wines. Notices about new releases will be sent to this list as they happen. Otherwise, visits by appointment may be arranged; you may contact us as described below.
Truffle season runs from middle of June through early September. We supply a limited number of restaurants where you can enjoy our truffles in their fabulous dishes, and shops (see list here).
We will conduct truffle hunts, usually in conjunction with other groups, at times to be announced. You can book to attend these tours, which may include truffle hunts, wine tastings and demonstration cooking sessions, directly with the operators. We will notify members of our mailing list of upcoming opportunities.
Small portions of fresh truffle may be offered during the season through the on-line shop. If you would like to be notified of availability, please join the email mailing list for Buxton Black Truffles.
